Also, it has a mute / volume control on the (8 foot!) cord. I'll upload a photo. Because I bought this headset for voice recognition, and recording video tutorials, the low quality headphones are not a problem. I would recommend looking for something else if you want high quality sound for music or FPS gaming. If your main interest is the microphone, I can definitely recommend it. I get very accurate voice recognition with Dragon Naturally; and clear sound quality when recording with Camtasia. Update: I don't have small ears, so while this headset is light, the padding is thin thus I'm not comfortable wearing it for long periods. The brand had been recommended to me by a friend who has designed speakers. While he was suggesting a more expensive model (in the $400 range) he said that any Sennheiser headset should be better than most if not all of the competition. He was right. One of my major goals was to have a headset that would fit and stay on without putting so much pressure it felt like a vice grip. These fit that goal almost perfectly. I was also impressed with the range of sounds these put out. Many headsets can deliver good bass, but they seem to do so at the loss of some of the higher ranges of sound. These manage to supply a good sound level in a wide range. Violin concerti sound as good as the driving beat of rock songs. For the price, I don't believe I could have selected a better option...
